We are gay owned and operated and broadcast LGBTQ programing to the global queer world — talk programming, original content, music sets, and conversations from across the global community — twenty-four hours a day online. Free to listen. Easy to find.
We Need More Gay Superheroes
We started this because there is plenty of room in the world for more queer voices to be heard. There are fewer than ten dedicated LGBTQ radio stations operating in the world today. There are hundreds of millions of queer people. Many of us remember a world with no representation at all. There have been huge strides made in much of the world — and we are grateful! We also realize that as hard as it is to achieve rights, they can be robbed in an instant.
One place that has been a haven for the oppressed, the trapped, and the solitary, for over a century — is radio. Radio gives strength to the disenfranchised through solidarity, hope, and real world resources to help people survive, overcome, and find safe harbor. Radio is an outstretched arm to all, including you. You are not alone. Global Gay Radio is the superhero our LGBTQ world needs right now.

Global Gay Radio operates as a multi-channel international internet radio station broadcasting live from Los Angeles. Our programming spans talk, call-in, conversation, commentary, original audio production shows, news, music, and curated DJ sets drawn from across the worldwide queer community and anchored in California. We aim to represent all voices — lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, non-conforming — and welcome learning new queerness, uncovering all the threads of the global gay fabric of life. English and Spanish are built into the station's core, with multilingual programming expanding as we grow.
We are a new operation born from an exciting company — independently gay owned and operated, ad-supported, listener-grown, and building toward becoming a lasting global resource for the LGBTQ community. The station is operated under Lanczos Castro Enterprises, an independent company headquartered in California. Programming is produced in East LA — An AleyAvi production.
We are not in it for the data! We will never share or sell your information. We are here to build and support community — and trust is a cornerstone of that. We are not here to burn you, use you, out you, scam or spam you.
